Position Summary:

 

The Project Manager - Conversion Optimization is a highly motivated individual with strong communication and project management skills, who can drive projects forward while communicating effectively across teams. Ideally, this individual has an interest in digital marketing.

 

As a manager within our conversion optimization team, you’ll work closely with the senior manager of conversion optimization to ensure that tests are moving forward and on track – from concept to completion. You will manage optimization project workflows across multiple teams and agencies.. You will also assist with test planning and execution and play a key role in the overall growth of the conversion optimization program. As such, this role will enable you to transition and grow into digital marketing or continue in project management with marketing experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management
    • Project management: Manage multiple tests and projects at a time and ensure that prioritized tests are moving forward.
    • Collaboration and support:Partner with internal and agency teams to develop tests and recommend changes based on winning test results.  Work closely with Sr. Manager of Optimization to move initiatives and priorities forward.
    • Communication and coordination:Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues about test plans, needs, and priorities.
    • Requirements gathering:Document technical and functional requirements to support tests, projects, and initiatives. Maintain a holistic view of technology and user experience, ensuring that the end-to-end experience is strong.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Test management:Assist in test ideation, planning and reporting.
    • Test execution: Assist in launching, monitoring, and closing tests as needed.
    • Test insight management: Document and organize testing insights, to make them available and useful in future projects.

Requirements:
  • Two to Three years relevant experience; or, equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • 1-3 years experience in project management.
  • Experience with project scoping and estimation.
  • Experience using project managements tools (Wrike,
  • Workfront, JIRA, Monday, etc.).
  • Strong coordination with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, thinks and works fast, can execute complex tasks with minimal oversight.
  • A demonstrated capacity and willingness to learn.
  • Innovative mindset. Seek results and over following “best practices.”
  • Interest in digital marketing / conversion optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Management, Marketing Management, or equivalent field.

Preferred 

  • Higher Education sector experience  
  • Experience running A/B tests, or familiarity with A/B testing concepts
  • Experience with websites and web analytics
  • Experience working with marketing teams
