SUMMARY:

National University is seeking a dynamic Sourcing professional that enjoys an ever-changing, entrepreneurial, and quickly growing environment, with great opportunity to step into an influential, exciting role responsible for sourcing passive and active candidates to build a strong talent pool.  This will be  achieved through employing traditional and creative sourcing strategies.  The Sourcer will play a critical role in ensuring the attraction of top talent with a primary focus on academic (e.g. Faculty and academic support staff) and operational positions (e.g. Enrollment, Student Services, Finance, Marketing, IT etc.) while working in a fun yet fast-paced, metric-driven, team environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

·        Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner and Hiring Manager to understand staffing requirements and develops a proactive, innovative, and cost-effective sourcing/recruitment strategy to attract and recruit a diverse pool of top talent.

·        Develops and applies advanced sourcing techniques including the use of social media, internet, data mining and talent campaigns to locate and secure top industry talent.

·        Develops relationships with professional organizations, associations, colleges, schools, and community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of viable candidates

·        Source candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns  

·        Find, engage, and activate passive candidates through alternative search techniques

·        Initiate the interview process, including pre-screening of resumes, sending application packets, arranging interviews, and facilitating skills testing, as needed.

·        Proactively recommend and drive process improvements that impact candidate identification and engagement

·        Develops and maintains network and database of potential talent for future reference including pipeline of passive talent.

·        Maintain ATS, databases and spreadsheets of recruitment activities.

·        Maintain relationships with temporary agencies to fill temporary employment needs.

·        Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders

·        Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the industry through attendance of educational seminars, networking, and industry events.

·        Assist with other functions as directed by the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition.

·        Reasonable and consistent attendance to fulfill the requirements of the position.

·        Experience in virtual recruitment (social media, LinkedIn, resume sourcing).

·        You can keep a secret – Experience maintaining confidentiality with issues of a sensitive nature.

·        You are a fantastic communicator able to connect with all levels of staff and outside vendors.

·        Tech Savvy - Proficient with Microsoft Word and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

 

·        Bachelor's degree with focus in Human Resources or a related field required.

·        At least (2) years of recruitment/sourcing experience.

·        Experience working with applicant tracking systems, we use Jobvite so experience there is a plus.

·        Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise.

·        Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred

·        All skills, abilities and education will be considered for minimum qualifications

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position operates in a remote, home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.

·        Good working environment with the absence of disagreeable conditions. 

·        The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

·        Regular and reliable attendance is required.
