Position Summary:

With direct supervision, help us maintain the content of our National University System websites.


Essential Functions:

  • Update content for the National University System websites
  • Review posted content to ensure it meets set guidelines and formatting
  • Create template-based pages for programs and events
  • Crop and enhance images as required
  • Edit graphic files as required
  • Troubleshoot minor HTML and CSS display issues
  • Coordinate calendars and update timelines
  • Audit and monitor quality of existing website content
  • Drive improvements to improve workflow
  • Other website and marketing-related duties as required
  • Other duties as assigned.    


Supervisory Responsibilities: NA



Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, web design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Two (2) years’ relevant experience; or, equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:

  • 1+ years working experience as a Web Content Editor or similar role
  • Editing content on WordPress and/or Drupal CMS
  • HTML and CSS scripting knowledge/experience required
  • Advanced HTML and CSS scripting experience a plus, but not required
  • Basic proficiency in Photoshop
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, writing and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated/proven attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Occasional evening and weekend work required
  • Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.
