Position Summary:

With limited supervision, support a variety of projects regarding online and offline advertising campaigns and student recruitment initiatives for the National University System (NUS). Key player in supporting both regional and state-wide product/program marketing campaigns. Functional manager providing marketing and administrative support to the Product Marketing and Account Services team.


Essential Functions:

  • Manages day-to-day projects from inception to completion including, planning, resources, coordinating meetings and documentation.
  • Partners with the account team members to define the project scope and requirements.
  • Creates, communicates and manages project schedules, budgets and specifications.
  • Communicates and documents special project status and strategic recommendations to clients and team members on a regular basis; escalates issues accordingly to appropriate channels.
  • Collaborates with external agencies, internal NU Marketing team, and cross-functional teams (including brand/product managers, program leads, PR, legal, and policy stakeholders) to create integrated marketing moments.
  • Help Associate Director of Program marketing and creative teams execute the production of student and faculty testimonial videos.
  • Manages the input of data for proper campaign tracking using the existing lead management and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to track strategies and produce reports by source, location, etc.; using analytical tools and other applicable technologies to analyze and communicate results and performance of advertising and marketing efforts.
  • Support Associate Director in developing presentations, case studies, and reports.
  • Develops specialized knowledge of products/programs, markets, customers, industry & cultural trends, and competitors in support of marketing management.
  • Identifies and recommends continuous improvement for product/program marketing strategies and implementation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing, required; and, five (5) years relevant experience in marketing, project management, data management or analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic knowledge of project management and tools such as Basecamp, Trello or Teamwork, a plus; highly organized with solid time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to track campaigns and report outcomes using software applications like Eloqua and Google Analytics, desirable.
  • Intermediate use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and ability to learn new systems as necessary to succeed with results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individual of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.
