Position Summary: This position is responsible for directing the daily operations of the University’s Enrollment Team. The Associate Director of Enrollment (ADOE) directly leads a team of Enrollment Specialists and other supporting team members to help prospective students to become enrolled and begin their first courses at Northcentral University.

Essential Functions:
• Directs the daily operations of the Enrollment team
• Provides coaching on live and recorded calls
• Develops and conducts training programs to improve Enrollment Specialists’ skills.
• Serves as a mentor and guide to each of his or her team members
• Develops and implements short- and long-term strategies to enroll prospective students
• Ensures that team enrollment conversion targets are achieved, relating to the University’s enrollment conversion targets
• Provides leadership to the process of effectively working and managing lead, Applicant, and Candidate flow
• Prepares and maintains conversion rates and related reports
• Administers payroll and timecard reporting for team members
• Oversees the entire Admissions and Enrollment floor in the absence of the Director of Enrollment
• Manages the final stages of application and enrollment on behalf of prospective students
• Manages transcript collection, transport, and evaluation processes
• Ensures acceptance letters and degree plans are sent to applicants in a timely manner
• Communicates effectively and continuously with applicants to keep them involved in the final stages of the enrollment process
• Ensures performance and service standards are met by Enrollment team
• Answers applicant’s questions and addresses concerns and issues to prepare them to be successful within the University learning environment
• Troubleshoots and resolves prospective student service issues arising during the enrollment process
• Ensures first course requests are processed in a timely manner
• Facilitates timely communication with new students to ensure successful enrollment handoff to the Academic Advisor
• Attends Enrollment Leadership Team meetings
• Upholds the University standard of conduct and all other policies and procedures
• Identifies opportunities and recommends changes to improve the University
• Participates in training and continuous education to improve skill set
• Other duties as assigned
• Reasonable and consistent attendance to fulfill requirements of the position

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibility for Enrollment Specialists and the Enrollment Processor.

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Five (5) years Enrollment, Admissions, or Sales/Operations experience
• Three (3) years leadership experience preferred
• Experience in higher education preferred
• Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred
• All skills, abilities and qualifications will be considered for minimum requirements
• Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a remote, home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Travel: Limited travel; may be asked to travel to University sponsored meetings or events.
