Essential Functions:

  • Works with senior level business leaders in identifying changing needs, in the design, and development of training and professional development strategy and curricula. Continually seeks feedback and recommendations from senior level leaders on the impact on performance.
  • Contributes to retaining and growing internal staff by providing training of new employee orientation, leadership development, manager essentials, change management, performance management, goal-setting, teambuilding, and organizational alignment resources that guide the organization in daily operations and business practices.
  • Utilizes Storyline Articulate, Canva and other e-learning medias to create and deliver engaging e-learning content for all audience levels
  • Responsible for the quality of classroom and technology-based training and professional development activities including needs assessment, curriculum development, course design/planning and logistics, content delivery, and development of related training materials. Designs and produces a variety of instructional content that is creative, innovative in it’s delivery including e-learning webinar, in-person, and blended modalities.
  • Facilitates learning experiences that incorporate adult learning theories and engage the adult learner in a synchronous or asynchronous environment. Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
  • Manages the full execution and delivery lifecycle of key learning experiences (program preparation, communication, logistical needs, etc.)
  • Creates and maintains training manuals, reference resources, testing and evaluation procedures, job aids, visual aids and other learning materials to drive an engaging learning culture
  • Creates learning paths utilizing LinkedIn Learning and other learning resources.
  • Ensures effective assessment of learning through measuring reaction, learning, application and impact of program and materials. Maintains feedback surveys to assess training value.  Assists in analysis of survey data for continuous improvement and implement best practices
  • Providing service excellence for our internal and external customers by instituting processes including “best practices” involved in optimizing the employee experience across the University while achieving overall University objectives.
  • Generates promotional material for internal communication. Collaborates with senior leadership to create content for internal SharePoint website and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Research vendors, resources, and materials.
  • Collaborates on team projects and initiatives
  • Maintains knowledge of instructional technologies by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
  • Reasonable and consistent attendance to fulfill requirement of the position.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in learning and development or talent management required.
  • 3+ years of experience professionally facilitating training programs for small and large audiences.
  • 2+ years of experience applying instructional design methods and creating instructionally sound material.
  • Prior experience in the development of function or organization-wide training strategies required.
  • Prior experience in creating and delivering e-learning with Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captiva etc.
  • Prior experience directing, implementing, and maintaining technology-based training/distance learning programs for a geographically dispersed workforce strongly preferred.
  • Experience in higher education preferred.
  • Certified in DiSC or Clifton Strengths Finder and facilitating team assessment workshops is preferred.
  • Working experience with Workday LES or a LMS is preferred
  • Experience with LinkedIn Learning is preferred
