Senior Growth Marketer

About the position

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr Growth Marketer to join the Moz Growth Marketing team. In this individual contributor role, you will be the team’s go-to person for all things top of funnel acquisition, paid ads, AB testing, conversion rate optimization, landing pages, funnels and more.  You will work cross-functionally to optimize our acquisition channels across our team in-house,with  external partners and our paid ads Agency. You’ll be responsible for owning and setting the strategy, as well as the setup and maintenance of various acquisition campaigns across our various Moz products.

 The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing large budgets with required ROI and ultimately running multiple projects with different assets and goals at the same time. Your ability to gather, distill data to make data-driven decisions is your superpower and you love to optimize towards target CPCs, CPAs, and CVRs. A naturally curious person, you enjoy trying new things and exploring new ways to achieve your goals.


  • Strategize, plan, and execute on integrated digital strategies and PPC campaigns, including paid search, paid social, video, display advertising, and other programmatic platforms
  • Analyze campaign performance, user data, and run hypothesis-based tests.
  • Write clear and concise ad copy based on approved key messages for that campaign or product.
  • Maintain Google Tag Manager and set up tracking as needed in various platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
  • Experience managing A/B tests through Google Optimize or similar testing platforms.
  • Perform competitive analysis and research new opportunities that support our various growth and acquisition goals.
  • Analyze our funnel performance and give recommendations on where there is drop off and how we can improve.
  • Assist in the design and development of conversion-driving assets such as landing pages, ad creative, webpage content, and copy with a focus on Conversion Rate Optimization.
  • Deliver weekly/monthly reporting to the Growth team and the Director of Growth Marketing. This includes campaign KPIs, insights, and recommendations.
  • Provide leadership and strategy for all things growth and acquisition related.


Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience implementing and managing successful paid advertising campaigns primarily through Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Detailed and hands-on understanding and use of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Ability to attribute campaign performance back to channel, goal, and product line.
  • Very strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret data to make strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and comfortable presenting data to stakeholders through tools such as Excel and Data Studio.
  • Experience managing large +1M yearly budgets across multiple products and channels and optimizing towards CPA and ROAS.
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards managing multiple assignments and the ability to learn quickly and independently; seek opportunities to extend and deepen learning.
