Manager - Payment Processing

Reporting to the VP-Finance & with responsibilities spanning 10 distinct brands across Ziff Davis’ Moz Group, the position will be tasked with driving best practices in payment processing, and visibility into performance via the development of dashboards and other reporting tools.  You will drive the direction for understanding and improving our payments capabilities, own data analytics for electronic payments while partnering with finance, engineering, product, and operations teams to drive related projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about data analysis and has a track record of bringing course-changing insights to cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, own and drive KPIs enabling global payments growth and success
  • Develop a weekly global electronic payments dashboard highlighting trends, establishing projected results and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Drive enhancements through consumer payment analytics and data insights
  • Provide first level support of payment processor reconciliations performed by accounting team
  • Manage the payments processing roadmap including migration across processors, adding payment methods and enhancements
  • Collaborate with business process owners, product managers and engineering to build-out best in class payment options
  • Provide cross-functional support on electronic payment issues; diagnose, resolve and provide reconciliation between actual and projected results
  • Assist in developing ad-hoc analysis, reports, presentations, and special projects for senior leadership team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree. Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field(s) are preferred.
  • 5+ years of payments processing, quote-to-cash financial reporting experience. SaaS industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with payment processors like Chase, Stripe, PayPal, etc.
  • Must be self-starter, able to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage relationships at varying levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical parties
  • Strong SQL experience across a variety of relational databases is preferred.
  • Experience with a modern reporting visualization tool (Tableau; PowerBI; Domo)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information through dashboards
