We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join us to build and manage our data pipelines that will support our products, machine learning models, and business analytics. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Design, develop, and maintain all data pipelines for data warehousing as well as Machine Learning models
  • Deploy and manage machine learning models in production
  • Work closely and interactively with data scientists to improve and scale machine learning models
  • Proactively identify, design, and implement process improvements like automating manual processes, optimizing data flow, increase scalability etc.
  • Build analytics tools on top of data infrastructure to provide actionable insights and monitor key business performance metrics
  • Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support all data infrastructure needs
  • Guide A/B testing practices to select and use best performing models.

About Your Experience:

  • A candidate with 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role, who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another quantitative field. They should have experience in using the following tools:
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and MongoDB
  • Experience with AWS cloud services, like EC2, EMR, RDS, SageMaker, Redshift, S3, ElasticSearch
  • Experience in designing efficient and robust ETL/ELT workflows, schedulers, and event-based triggers
  • Hands-on experience building, optimizing, and scaling data pipelines and architectures
  • Practical experience testing and maintaining machine learning models in production
  • Experience working with recommendation engines is a bonus
  • Experience working with computer vision models is a bonus
  • Experience prototyping and tuning machine learning models is a bonus
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in fast-growing environment
  • Curious, resourceful, and eager to tackle new challenges
  • Strong project management and organizational skills

Experience:

  • Software Development: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Data Engineer: 3+ years (5+ years preferred)
