What You Will Be Doing
- Engage with client stakeholders to solve complex problems, evaluate alternative solutions, and make recommendations daily.
- Manage the life cycle of an event to include logistics, briefing materials, partner and leadership engagement, coordination of all requirements.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with interagency and overseas partners.
- Support critical work-streams, including reporting, internal and external communications, including written materials, in support of international engagement activities, data analysis, and strategic planning.
- Strong communicator with the ability to present briefing materials and project reviews to a senior audience and field questions and inquiries in a balanced and professional manner.
- Strategize with client leadership to plan, develop, and implement concepts and strategies in support of international projects and initiatives.
What We Need From You (Required)
- Minimum Master's degree in International Relations, Government Affairs, Communications or related field
- Microsoft Suite
- US citizen
- TS/SCI a plus but not necessary
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience supporting international work or government affairs, either through work with governments, NGOs, and/or the private sector
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and consulting facilitation skills
