Investment Manager

The Investment Manager will be responsible for the day to day supervision of client TV, Radio and VOD with focus on quality control. This position requires an individual with strong negotiation skills, the ability to manage a team of investors and a commitment to delivering to plan specifications.

Knowledge of players, pricing and audience measurement is required.  A strong focus will be on the management of the team ensuring that a) workflow is orderly and timely; b) deadlines are met; c) client specs are delivered.

Key Accountabilities:   

  • Negotiation of inventory within client specifications
  • Leadership and training of assigned team
  • Rating and audience development
  • Quality control of all investments
  • Client contact through collaboration with assigned client service team
  • Written POV’s and recommendations
  • Price development on specific clients
  • Responsible for development of team, including performance reviews
  • Market knowledge, written updates of market conditions – price and inventory
  • Assist finance team with discrepancy clearing
  • Compiling audit reports for clients working with 3rd party auditors and Global audits
  • Write, attend and present internal and client presentations
  • Engage and participate in meetings
  • Use Mediacom Proprietary tool and other measurement software (Numeris)
  • Help drive agency revenue through inventory

Education and Experience: 

  • 5+ years experience in investment buying (TV & Radio) - buying experience on all levels .e.g. Television- Conventional and Speciality
  • Must have experience in line managing & training
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Experience in screen, neutral and radio investment
  • Experience in screen neutral buying is desirable
