Sr Software Engineer
Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test applications, interfaces, reports, data conversions and enhancements
- Help develop reports in ReportsNow software
- Combine technical problem-solving skills with the ability to debug operational and system issues
- Communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Understand end-to-end application environment and work with other developers and business analysts to validate capabilities are being built according to strategic direction
- Include non-functional requirements (such as security, performance, roll-back, etc.) in the technical design
- Write and execute test cases to run unit test and manage defect tracking for development
- Utilize Martin Marietta SDLC methodologies, business requirements definition, process and change management
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required
- 5+ years of strong experience in .NET C#, Applications (FDA), Reports (SAP Crystal Reports), Business Functions (Visual C++), and ASP.NET
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience in writing RESTful Web Services
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript, Angular, and using Git
- Experience in performing code review, unit testing, integration testing, and automated performance testing
- Experience preferred with functional aspects of the following JD Edwards modules – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Tax, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and all the Finance modules
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) / presentation skills
- Travel may be required at times – 5%
