Job Description & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Development Operations Engineer to help us use the latest technology to build apps, microservices and web UIs that bring the service industry together to succeed in work and life.  No other company seeks to create a place as diverse and dynamic as the industry we serve. As a Development Operations Engineer you will work closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure Seasoned’s products are built and maintained with world-class quality and scalability.


  • Own core pieces of the Seasoned infrastructure
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the systems development life cycle using Agile methodologies
  • Drive improvements in uptime, security, and developer efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to build and improve products
  • Ensure systems are up-to-date with latest technologies
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex business problems


  • Understanding of the DevOps mindset and culture
  • Ability to work independently with external teams to determine requirements and develop project plans
  • Demonstrable experience with high uptime web-based systems 
  • Experience with using monitoring and observability systems such as NewRelic, Sumologic, and similar to identify problems and opportunities for improvement
  • Wide understanding of the AWS ecosystem, including EKS, EC2, Lambda, and Cloudformation
  • Experience with containerization/Docker, including custom image creation and maintenance (bonus points for experience migrating systems into Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, software release engineering concepts, and associated automation tooling.
  • Competency in PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases, and non-relational/document technologies like Elasticsearch and MongoDB, etc.
  • Solid scripting abilities, Python preferred
  • Experience using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
  • Ability to work independently as well as in small teams
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • 2 to 4 years of experience building and delivering high uptime, web scale systems
