ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated, driven, and technically knowledgeable Director Service Delivery to join our team.

NOTE:  This position is located in the ITCON Services headquarters in Tysons, Virginia and allows for a hybrid work schedule.  Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government.


  • Own a portfolio of software application development and/or O&M projects, including building and leading development teams, working with Program and Project Managers, Analysts, Developers, and other project roles to deliver high quality services to our customers
  • Ensure that projects are following ITCON Service Delivery Methodology paired with management best practices, project planning, understanding customer needs, monitoring execution, necessary reporting, and quality assurance of project process flow
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, collaborate with customers to develop a strategic vision
  • Work with executive leadership to formulate annual portfolio strategic plan and work with delivery team on implementation
  • Manage all aspects of project financials for all projects assigned to his or her portfolio
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the internal Operations team to ensure smooth operations
  • Work independently, employ effective time management skills to organize and handle multiple highly visible priorities, projects, and products simultaneously
  • Advise project teams on process improvements to promote high quality project delivery and adherence to processes and standards (e.g. ITCON SDM, PMI and Agile frameworks)
  • Lead and support BD capture and proposal initiatives


  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related field preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile Certification
  • 15+ years in the Information Technology industry
  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing IT projects
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Expert level understanding of SDLC and best practices, agile practitioner
  • Self-motivated and strong team builder
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to multithread and move multiple projects forward
  • Performed project management in a government environment and have had responsibility for successful delivery of IT projects meeting/exceeding client requirements and with high team satisfaction
  • Experience managing Federal Government Customers
  • Ability to recruit and retain technical and non technical staff at various levels in the organization
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills
  • Experience in people management and supervision of remote employees across multiple locations
  • Hands-on experience managing IT project P/L, resources, and reporting on financials
