Description

ITCON Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Salesforce Program Manager to join our team. As a Technical Salesforce Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and management of Salesforce projects within our organization. Your primary focus will be on technical aspects of Salesforce, including customization, integration, data management, and system architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions that meet the organization's needs.

 

  • As a Salesforce Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading large/complex projects related to Salesforce implementations, integrations, and customizations.
  • This role involves working closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Lead Salesforce implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, task assignments, and project schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.
  • Work closely with development teams to design and implement complex Salesforce customizations, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrations with external systems.
  • Oversee data management activities, including data migration, data quality assurance, and data governance.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of Salesforce solutions through effective system architecture design and implementation.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators to support the ongoing maintenance and administration of Salesforce instances.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance existing systems and processes.
  • Ensuring that your team produces work that adheres to Salesforce's best-design principles.
  • Performs complex analysis of software requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation of design and operation.
  • Manage the relationship with all parties and ensure they follow the proper release process and best practices in development lifecycle.
  • Interact with senior leadership and major stakeholders to establish project strategic plans and objectives.
  • Develop and implement project-level procedures and performance metrics.
  • Manage risks and issue tracking throughout the project.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the client, team and the operational aspects of the project
  • Facilitate or co-lead with customer project manager regular status meetings with the project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
  • Generate and distribute timely status reports, time usage reports, and expense reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports to key stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Hands-on experience managing IT project budgets and resources and reporting on financials.
  • Ability to write complex technical proposal responses.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex technical concepts and analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Able to multitask and move multiple projects forward.
  • Experience with Federal Government Customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related field preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 10+ years’ experience in managing complex Salesforce implementation projects as a Technical Program Manager.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, are highly desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration, including knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze and translate functional business requirements from stakeholders into detailed tasks for Design and Development teams.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects in an agile development methodology.
  • Expert level understanding of SDLC and best practices
  • Attention to details is a must.
