Position Summary

ITCON Services is seeking an energetic and engaged professional to support our project and quality management needs. The P/Q Manager will be responsible for ensuring sustainment of corporate quality certifications and qualifications, along with championing quality practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sustainment of corporate quality initiatives including CMMI Dev/Svc ML3, ISO 9001/20000-1/27001
  • Ensure organization process compliance by conducting Internal Audit and various reviews
  • Facilitate process implementation/deployment in projects and support departments
  • Ensure quality of deliverables in projects/departments
  • Establish and assess quality process performance criteria in the execution of program requirements
  • Support implementation of Agile/Scrum framework in projects
  • Interact/Report to senior management and clients
  • Identify process issues proactively and track to closure
  • Collect metrices as per organization's measurement framework and conduct the relevant data analysis/RCA
  • Conduct/facilitate project delivery reviews
  • Participate in Internal and External process assessments
  • Conduct/facilitate various process training and mentor project/department teams on QMS
  • Facilitate Customer Satisfaction Survey and relevant data analysis
  • Support implementation of various PM, CM tool knowledge such as JIRA, Unanet, etc.
  • Maintain, update, and implement quality goals, policies, priorities, and procedures
  • Establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to team effort by mentoring team members and documenting quality processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related field preferred
  • 6+ years in the Information Technology industry
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing IT projects
  • Knowledge of process management and quality fundamentals, tools, and techniques
  • Hands on experience supporting CMMI/ISO implementations
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Expert level understanding of SDLC and best practices
  • Agile practitioner
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and customer interface skills required
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data to generate reports in a variety of formats
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if necessary
  • If offered a position, proof of U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident/Green Card holder of the United States is required
