Hours:  Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Position Summary


Polyvinyl Films is currently seeking a Security Guard to join our manufacturing facility in Sutton, MA.  The ideal Security Guard will have prior experience working with the public, diplomacy when interacting with employees, and possess a stern sense of authority.

We are looking for a Security Guard with a positive attitude and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.  We are dedicated to our employees providing a work environment built on respect, support, and teamwork.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take employee forehead temperatures and collect COVID tests at the shipping department entrance between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
  • Monitor the breakroom and maintain sign in log; employees responsible for making entries into log book
  • Tour inside and outside of facility multiple times daily to observe and ensure proper mask fit in addition to social distancing being practiced; report infractions to Production Manager
  • Tour parking areas to maintain cleanliness and to ensure that employees are not in parking areas during shift hours


Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Previous relevant experience in a plant/manufacturing environment preferred
  • High level of professionalism; ability to maintain calm in stressful situations
  • Excellent customer and communication skills; ability to get along well with others at all levels
  • Team-player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to work in all-weather environments (cold, heat, rain, snow)
  • Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
