Job Description

GridPoint is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our Corporate IT team and work to support the business functions.  We are a small company with a startup culture that has seen rapid expansion. This position is responsible for ensuring proper implementation, maintenance, oversight, and control for our Salesforce installation and user community. This person will also work with specialty contractors supplying Salesforce customizations to ensure compliance with GridPoint policies for security and user administration. GridPoint’s Salesforce installation presently supports approximately 150 internal users connecting with a customer community of several thousand.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities   

  • Administration and management of:
    • Lightning
    • Process Builder
    • Custom objects and page layouts
    • Workflows and validation rules
    • Profiles, permission sets, roles, and data access
    • Third-party integrated applications
    • Additional Salesforce elements, as appropriate, to GridPoint’s installation
  • Troubleshooting support for business users
  • Perform multi-stage deployments using change sets and Salesforce DX/repositories
  • Restoring from production to sandbox/development environments
  • Moving profile-based permissions to permission sets
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)/console experience with deployment methodologies
  • Perform Salesforce upgrades and verify success with all integrated peer applications
  • Provide Salesforce training and end-user support for the GridPoint user community

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience in progressively more advanced administrative roles
  • 2+ years of professional experience expressly in UX Design and implementation
  • 4-6 years of configuration management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification or equivalent experience
