SALES MANAGER

ROLE SUMMARY:

Funko Far East is currently seeking Sales Manager to join the newly established Commercial team. This role is responsible for developing and executing business plans to drive profitable growth & achieve annual targeted sales and profit goals with our Distributors and key trade partners in targeted Asia markets. It aims at building strong relationships, delivering customer satisfaction, achieving brand and product objectives and excellence in execution.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage and develop current portfolio of Distributors and retail accounts in defined Asia markets
  • Identify potential new Distribution partners in existing and new markets for Funko brands
  • Establish sales targets, design and implement corresponding distribution and sales strategies to support commercial development by meeting the targets and mapping the accounts to identify new opportunities
  • Analyze market trends and client needs to determine product range strategies in accordance with business priorities for the development and performance of sales activities in assigned markets
  • Build and maintain positive pro active business relationships with Asia licensor partners and within customer functions (Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, E-Commerce, Supply chain, Operations)
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and execute brand and distribution plans to achieve targeted brand features and visibility
  • Coordinate & brief creative content creation for campaigns and promotional activities with key accounts, support national events and trade shows
  • Collaborate and communicate performance reporting with Finance on Distributor and customer pricing and market P+L management
  • Carry out forecasting activity to ensure appropriate inventory level and recurring monthly revenue achievement

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Degree or above with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Sales or Account Management role gained from consumer product industry
  • Strong experience in managing Asia Distributors and retailers with proven track records
  • A breadth of knowledge of POP culture, collectible/toy industry and customer trends
  • Able to move quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast -paced environment
  • Good team player, result-oriented and strong customer focus
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Sound commercial acumen with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Sensitive in number, good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Proven multi-tasking ability with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese & Mandarin
  • Proficient in MS Office, experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV)
  • Asia travel is required
