Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world.

The Sourcing Specialist will help build and maintain supplier relationships and provide insight into supplier performance.  They must be able to collaborate effectively with peers and management to ensure alignment on sourcing activities, cost and data sharing, and other industry specific information.  This position reports to Manager, Global Sourcing, and provides support and assistance with operational and organizational functions to the entire Softlines or Hardlines Sourcing teams.

What You’ll Do

Sourcing and Production

• Support Merchandise Sourcing team for select product categories for Funko and Loungefly
• Maintain cost variant expectations across multiple product types and suppliers to support global business
• Assessing quotes and provide detailed cost breakdowns as needed
• Assist in vendor communication and production management related to designated product categories

Productivity and Process 

• Track progress of production cycle against key milestone dates as defined in various production tracking tools
• Initiate cost and production related inquires with global supplier base
• Follow up with vendor communication regarding any outstanding details
• Sound time-management skills to support multiple categories of business simultaneously
• Prepare standard any ad-hoc reports as requested

Collaboration and Communication

• Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
• Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to understand key sourcing issues and action items
• Communicate production status to global and regional partners as required
• Respond professionally and comprehensively to field requests and inquiries

What You’ll Bring

• 2 yr. college degree with focus on business, administration, supply chain or related field and 2+ years of related experience
• Work experience preferably in specialty retail or consumer products
• Exposure to Sourcing & Production of multiple product categories
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of partners, a team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and desire to be flexible, adapt to change and grow with organization

Salary Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $57,600 - $72,000 annually.​ Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
