The IT Systems Engineer supports Funko’s multi-platform environment by implementing and maintaining an efficient and secure enterprise infrastructure that offers uninterrupted service for our customers. The IT Systems Engineer will support, maintain, and implement infrastructure including server hardware, cloud infrastructure, operating systems, storage hardware/software, messaging, and collaboration hardware/software. In this role the Engineer will monitor systems telemetry/alerting to ensure systems are healthy and available.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work closely with employees, vendors, and contractors to implement technology solutions
- Resolve issues by working with cross-departmental teams, customer support, application developers, IT vendors, network and database administrators
- Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related system infrastructure
- Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the IT infrastructure
- Create and maintain system documentation and knowledgebase systems
- Analyze cloud-systems and cloud-infrastructure for optimization opportunities and system improvements
- Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, standards, and procedures
- All system-related duties and responsibilities including testing, debugging, and documentation of system software upgrades and new releases
- Engage in cross-team collaboration with IT Ops Systems Administrators and escalation services for IT Service Desk and other functional teams
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related discipline required, or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of practical experience supporting Windows Server in a Hybrid Infrastructure
- 3 years of experience supporting and engineering Active Directory, Azure, and M365
- Familiarity with backup software solutions like Cohesity, Rubrik, Veeam, Druva
- Strong consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, judgment, and the ability to work effectively with other systems technical staff, internal business customers, and external consultants and vendors
- Experience with Endpoint Management and Administration: Tanium, MECM, Intune, etc.
- Good understanding of IT concepts and Agile methodologies
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and DFS architecture
- Knowledgeable on the concepts of Information Security and Compliance
- Experience supporting business applications for end-users.
- Experience performing software installations and upgrades on desktops and servers
- Foundational knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts and frameworks required
- Certifications in Cisco, Juniper, HP Compute/Storage solutions, Azure, AWS a plus
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,610 - $110, 500 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
