Description

Funding Circle is looking for a technical Director to lead our Global HR systems and Operations as part of our growing People Team where you will get the chance to create a meaningful impact in a dynamic, high energy company.

The role:

  • Architecting and implementing a new HRIS and ensuring automation of processes
  • Developing a global people team data and systems strategy to allow us to produce meaningful people analytics and focus on adding value to the employee experience
  • Partnering closely with key stakeholders on driving through change initiatives

Improve our HR MI capability & capacity by leveraging technology:

  • Review of our current HRIS and associated systems. To enable this review you will need to work closely with key stakeholders from within the people team and the business to develop a well rounded understanding of our current HR Technology landscape and future needs
  • Review data structures across all HR systems and sources to ensure they are consistent and secure
  • Proactively improve our reporting capability, driving self-service opportunities to enable customised ad hoc reporting
  • Develop processes and tools that support the efficient delivery of HR cyclical activity (e.g. pay audit, bonus eligibility tools etc) and advise on the optimal way to manage data, MI and systems
  • Identify opportunities for MI automation, rationalisation, and improvement

Own & manage precise & reliable people data:

  • Measure & report on performance against the key components of the people plan, including quarterly reporting to the people leadership team
  • Continuously improve our people metrics reporting including use of data visualisation

Deliver insight & analytics:

  • Enable the detailed analysis of organisational data, analytics, and employee insights to identify key trends, risks and opportunities to inform the people plan
  • Develop an approach to proactively showcase our data & insight to influence where focus may be required & where interventions/deliverables should be targeted
  • Build capability to understand & interpret data by increasing awareness of data & insight across the people function so that teams know what is available and how to use it, including training in the use of any technical tools developed to support cyclical processes
Your experience:
  • Experience of working on a complex transformation project, ideally holding global experience delivering to a variety of different stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills around: planning, deadlines, stakeholder management etc
  • Previous experience working in consulting or HRIS will
  • Global function management
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work with large and complex data sets in a fast growing and complex data environment
  • Ability to communicate complex data in an engaging and compelling way
  • Continuous improvement mindset with drive and energy to deliver pragmatic solutions
  • Self starter who has the ability to deal with ambiguity and changing and conflicting demands
  • Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to engage a varied client group
  • Experience working in Agile SDLC teams would be a bonus
