The Marketplace team specifically represents what we see as the future of how we can 'build a better financial world' for SMEs in the UK. By partnering with other Lenders, the team are able to help more businesses achieve the funding they need.
What will you be doing?
As an Account Executive for the Marketplace team you’ll provide an exceptional service in managing loan applications for SME clients with a turnover up to £200,000 annually, to 3rd party lender partners. Working closely with both internal and external teams, you will supervise and manage these applications from start to completion and provide the client with an in-depth understanding of 3rd party lending and how this can benefit their business.
Do not worry if you don’t have any previous experience working in commercial finance – we can build on any knowledge gaps to help you succeed!
- Working towards a monthly target to achieve team and personal goals
- Engaging with SMEs via a range of channels (calls/emails/sms) and help fulfil their funding requirements via our 3rd party lender panel
- Working in an efficient manner and building relationships to be the ‘go to’ for both the client and the lender
- Motivated by success in numbers and driven to achieve your monthly targets
- Able to easily connect with people and demonstrate natural interpersonal skills - including teamwork!
- Organised and capable of managing your workload autonomously
- Keen to progress your sales career and ready to take on and implement feedback
- Excited by a fast-paced environment with the ability to ‘think smart’ and adapt quickly
This role would equally suit a recent graduate or those post-apprenticeship as well as those with some recent sales experience.
