The Team
Internal Audit (‘IA’) team within Funding Circle is considered as trusted and critical partner by the Business and Audit committee. The Chief Internal Auditor has been nominated for the IIA Inspirational Audit Leader 2023 award and the team has improved upon its IA effectiveness survey ratings year on year.
As a Fintech organisation we are looking for a talented Technology Auditor with good experience in providing technology assurance on cloud environment to further enhance our IA capacity. Please note this is a 6 month fixed-term contract.
What will you be doing?
- Perform Internal Audit reviews across technology, cyber and major technology change initiatives.
- Assist the IA team in scoping and performing the design and operative effectiveness tests and document them appropriately.
- Consolidate and articulate observations to senior stakeholder, assist in the preparation of impactful reports and agree follow up audit actions.
- Assist the Head of Technology Audit in documenting audit universe, audit risk assessments, technology risk taxonomies, and assurance maps.
- Ensure the quality of independent assurance activities by adhering to IA team’s methodology and quality requirements.
Are you?
- Strong experience of providing assurance over various technology areas
- Proven ability in delivery of audits related to technology platforms, system development lifecycle process and technology operations in cloud environments e.g. PAAS and SAAS.
- Identify and advice on controls required for a fast-growing financial services or tech environment, balancing growth opportunities with risk exposures.
- Experience in different test strategies to test the design and operative effectiveness of controls related to technology change, operations, and IT General and Application controls.
- Enthusiastic, passionate and self-motivated in using expertise to help support assurance activities required to deliver on organisational priorities.
