What you’ll be doing

Would you describe yourself as a data fanatic? Do you have a passion for managing, analysing and visualising data to help your company make better decisions faster? If you answer yes to these questions then we're looking for you to apply! We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to help drive the use of data across all of our direct marketing. 

The role will start with you working very closely with the Customer Analytics team as this is where the current marketing processes are run.  Your first project will be to understand and take over these processes to migrate them into the Data team, you’ll help by:

  • Helping to streamline and automate the marketing targeted selection process in a multi product environment
  • Aid automation of other standardised customer communications
  • Working with multiple internal stakeholder teams to understand requirements and help drive effective use of our data platform and reporting 
  • Designing, developing and maintaining data pipeline solutions using DBT and Airflow
  • Modelling of raw data into clean datasets that enable effective campaign selection, analysis, and reporting
  • Create data quality and validation checks
  • Ensure work is delivered to a high standard, write clear and thorough documentation and build scalable robust solutions

What You’ll Need 

  • Strong SQL programming skills, with Python being highly desirable. Developing Data Transformation pipelines (i.e. the T in ELT / ETL), with experience in DBT and Airflow highly desirable
  • Expertise in software development best practices - git version control, testing, CI/CD
  • Experience with building dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI or similar, designing data models and data cleansing at scale
  • A collaborative team player keen to learn and share best practices with excellent communication skills
  • Fired-up to achieve. Passionate about the power of data to drive better business outcomes for our customers with a  keen eye for detail and are renowned for having high standards in your work
