Lead Product Manager - Decisioning
We are looking for a Lead Product Manager in Credit Decisioning. You will lead the charge in defining the strategy and roadmap for Funding Circle’s proprietary credit decisioning technology, working in close partnership with stakeholders, to enable rapid innovation across our expanding product offering, including term loans, our FlexiPay instalment product, and business credit cards.
Please note, the minimum expectation for office attendance is a minimum of three days per week in our central London office.

The role
- Set the vision and strategy for the development of Funding Circle’s credit decisioning platform, prioritising goals and defining the short, mid, and long-term roadmap in partnership with credit risk, product & commercial
- Produce high quality product requirements that enable your empowered product teams to develop solutions that enable us to say yes to more businesses whilst managing compliance and risk
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, be the go-to person in your domain and enable fast decision-making
- Take complete ownership of your area, plotting a path forward based on your experience, market trends, evolving customer behaviours and business objectives
- Support the growth & development of the culture within the wider Product team
- Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day
What we’re looking for
- 7+ Years of relevant experience across product management, credit risk and/or data science
- Experience understanding customers through quantitative & qualitative methods and using it to develop customer-centric products
- Worked in empowered product & engineering teams to support delivery of the strategy, product vision, OKRs and roadmaps to drive business performance, owning product development & delivery through its lifecycle
- Collaborated with stakeholders to maximise the value of your work, make tough trade off decisions and get things done
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to draw strategic insights from analysis and a clear focus on customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals from different parts and levels of the organisation with different backgrounds and perspectives
