The Business Development Representative is responsible for creating relationships with leaders in small and medium businesses throughout Canada. The Business Development Representative initiates contacts, generates new business, builds business relationships, executes sales strategies and meets and/or exceeds quarterly and annual sales targets. 

Responsibilities

  • Developing growth and revenue generation strategies
  • Managing and developing relationships with new clients
  • Increasing client base according to targets
  • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Writing business proposals and demo presentations
  • Identifying and mapping business opportunities and customer needs
  • Researching potential business opportunities
  • Following and becoming knowledgeable about digital marketing trends
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements

 What kind of profile are we looking for?

  • The personality ! We are looking for dynamic people with good interpersonal skills and who are not shy. They will have a passion for business development and digital marketing and will be able to offer unparalleled customer service!
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development in a marketing space;
  • Bilingual, Fluent in English, French or Spanish;
  • Ability to prospect and acquire clients quickly;
  • Excellent communication and time management skills;
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently;
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms as well as smartphones, mobile apps and tablets
