JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for someone with a passion for leveraging technology to shape the future of education. You will work on the search and machine learning infrastructure at Edmodo. A detailed understanding of the Elastic Search or some other large scale search system is a necessity. Knowledge about NLP, machine learning and recommendation systems is a plus. An understanding of search in the AWS world is a plus. You're a practical, results-focused self-starter who will work to understand, improve and anticipate search needs within Edmodo.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the search infrastructure at Edmodo/AWS.
  • Improve the quality of Edmodo search.
Required or Preferred Experience/Education:
  • 2+ years of search experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
