AFO Senior Consultant – Family Office

Location: Lexington, KY or Louisville, KY

Dean Dorton, one of Kentucky’s largest regional full-service accounting and business advisory firms, has an opportunity for an experienced Accounting and Financial Outsourcing Senior Consultant, focusing on Family Office Services, within our Accounting and Financial Outsourcing (AFO) Services team. This opportunity is demanding, yet rewarding, offering opportunities for life-long learning and professional development.

What You’ll Be Doing

Our AFO family office team provides critical accounting and advisory services to our clients. In this role, you will be partnering with clients and your Dean Dorton team to provide accounting support to family office groups across the country, to include:

•                      Client relationships

•                      Software Optimization

•                      Financial statement preparation

•                      Report customization

•                      Accounts Payable

•                      Accounts Receivable

•                      Fixed & Investment Assets

•                      Loan & Lease Debt

•                      General ledger review

•                      Supplemental Financial & Tax Reports

What We are Looking For

Dean Dorton is seeking applicants who have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field, and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in an accounting or finance role. We are also looking for a candidate who has demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Candidates will catch our immediate attention if they have earned their CPA designation and have experience with Intacct, Bill.com, or Expensify.
