This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to join a team of high-performing business development and partner management professionals that has established market-leading partnerships with cybersecurity category leaders across Identity, Privileged Access Management (PAM), SIEM, SOAR and with some of the foremost global advisory and consulting partners—making Code42 the preferred Insider Risk Management (IRM) Ecosystem partner.

The Code42 Technology Partner Team is chartered with identifying new technology integration opportunities, developing and growing these partnerships, planning and executing the joint go-to-market strategy, and creating new-net sales opportunities working with our partner ecosystem.

Business Development Manager, Technology Partnerships will be responsible for: establishing deep and strategic relationships with key partner stakeholders, becoming an expert in the Code42 Insider Risk Management Ecosystem, leading partner sales enablement on the joint-value proposition, facilitating field sales alignment and engagement, serving as a subject-matter-expert for named partners with customers and prospects, and driving partner-sourced and partner-influenced sales opportunities.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Business Development & Technology Partnerships. 


  • Owning the relationship and establishing trust between Code42 and your named technology partners
  • Executing business plans with technology partners that outlines the joint value proposition, go-to-market strategy, business metrics and KPIs, and establishing a framework for the ongoing rhythm of partnership
  • Facilitating technology integration opportunities in close collaboration with Code42’s Product Management teams and the development of launch plans and associated sales and marketing collateral in conjunction with Code42’s Product Marketing teams
  • Working with Code42’s sales, channel and field marketing teams and driving market awareness of the complementary and integrated value of the Code42 + Tech Partner solution through joint “meet in the channel” GoToMarket programs and other marketing  initiatives
  • Building and facilitating field-sales relationships between Code42 and partners’ sales teams , and facilitating field level engagement with Code42 sales reps
  • Amplifying the Code42 message while promoting the “better together” messaging within the partner sales, marketing and technical field teams, and establishing mindshare for Code42 through joint thought leadership initiatives
  • Most importantly, directly and measurably impacting revenue growth through partner-sourced and partner-influenced sales pipeline opportunities 
  • The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in technology business development, alliance / partner management or channel management, and will come with a solid understanding of the cybersecurity market with some technical proficiency. Candidates with prior Product Management and Product Marketing roles and exposure to working with technology partners will also be considered
    Current experience that includes either working for or partnering with cybersecurity companies in one or more of the following categories: Endpoint protection, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privilege Access Management (PAM) SIEM, SOAR and Data Security space
  • 5-to-7 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience in executing field sales alignment and enablement of partner sales teams, building and executing Go-To-Market activities and measurably influencing sales pipeline growth
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to shape and align strategic agenda with senior executives at Code42 and across partner organizations
  • Adept at engaging with and influencing a variety of internal and external teams and roles—ranging from channel partners to marketing to sales to senior executives
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, executes with urgency and flexibility, and thrives in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, presentation and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Expected travel between 35% - 50% in the US (when travel resumes)
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment, if not currently employed by Code42

We offer a competitive salary that includes base + company bonus + equity.  Final salary will be based upon experience and geographic location. 

Salary range: $240,000 - $255,000
