THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the SVP, Worldwide Sales & Customer Success, this role is responsible for identifying and developing global, cross-functional strategic sales initiatives, which include, but not limited to: planning, reporting, territory configurations, sales process optimization, and sales program implementation. This role works closely with global sales leadership as a partner to develop frameworks on various business decisions using quantitative and qualitative data

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Partnering with the sales team to drive sales opportunities to close and ensuring the structure of the deal is correct, along with promoting best practices in sales effectiveness and sales efficiency
  • Collaborating with Sales Management to set up, maintain, and modify sales territories and assisting with the comprehensive analysis of territory alignment and optimization decisions
  • Building and sustaining relationships with both internal and external business partners to effectively administer sales operations functions and programs, resolve issues, and support ongoing program development
  • Growing and aligning sales resources to achieve targeted growth plans with our sales operations team
  • Providing leadership to sales operations team
  • Partner with Finance to help lead analytic efforts on sales pipeline data, general sales metrics, and providing accurate sales forecasts
  • Reviewing and monitoring sales operations process performance and provide recommendations for process optimization and improvement
  • Monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Years of Experience: 7+ years of analytical experience in sales strategy and/or operations, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience
  • Deep working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to independently address analytical requests: understand the core question being asked, gather needed data, build model, and validate assumptions, perform analyses, summarize, and present results in a compelling manner
  • Knowledge of incentive plan structures (quotas, accelerators, pay mix, and on-target earnings)
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization to solve problems.
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage conflicting priorities and to complete assignments under aggressive time constraints independently
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment, if not currently employed by Code42.
