The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for their customers with a cyber security aptitude specifically in Insider Risk Management, Insider Threat Detection and Response, Security Orchestration and Automation, and/or Security Information and Event Management, or other related data security technologies and methodologies. As an Insider Risk Advisor, Senior, you will bridge customer’s Security, Legal, HR, GRC and Information Technology groups to ensure Code42’s INCYDR customers are utilizing our solution to its fullest potential.  You will define and lead targeted customer engagements and deliver pre-sales advisory workshops to ensure both customers and prospective customers are setup for success. You will be responsible for identifying and defining Insider Risk Management best practices, helping customers operationalize those practices and driving alignment across Code42 on how those should be addressed in marketing, product, and pre-sales engagements. You will be an expert on Insider Risk Management program development, and on Code42 products and features. You will bring expertise and awareness of the broader security product ecosystem in order to help both Code42 and our customers identify and execute the most compelling and valuable technology integrations.


  • Deliver Insider Risk Management advisory engagements for customers
  • Deliver Insider Risk Management advisory workshops for prospective customers during pre-sales engagements
  • Understand Code42’s Insider Risk Management framework and methodology, and use it appropriately to help customers be successful with their insider risk management programs
  • Lead projects within the team to drive advisory program improvements, or implement new advisory programs
  • Define and create deliverables and templates to help the team establish standard operating practices to drive consistency, quality, and repeatability across customer engagements
  • Work with senior leadership and other team members to execute strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing to identify and deliver new content or programs to improve market impact of our products and services
  • Partner with pro-services, product management and ecosystem teams to identify and implement new capabilities or integrations
  • Work with Sales team to help them better position our services offerings; assist Sales during sales cycles to win critical deals.
  • Work closely with Code42 Customer Success Managers to develop and execute account strategy for INCYDR opportunities.


  • 5+ years of information security consulting services, security software sales and/or customer success management experience.
  • Proven experience with Insider Risk Management, Insider Threat Management in the capacity of consultant, security practitioner/leader/executive, technologist, sales or marketing
  • Experience determining and delivering security use case scenarios to customers
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with wide variety of security products, frameworks, and markets
  • Demonstrated success in guiding CISOs and senior security professionals on how to implement and manage successful security programs
  • Success working in a fast growth environment—solving problems while sustaining good relationships.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation, and communication skills.
  • Methodical critical thinking/decision making skills.
  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience, in Information Technology, computer science or a related field.
  • Security certifications and/or Insider Risk program development a plus.
  • 20-40% travel required 
  • For Colorado applicants: Base salary range for this position is $130,000-$180,000 annually, dependent upon the candidate's relevant experience.
