Position Summary:

Responsible for performing various clerical tasks to facilitate the recording process. Proofreads and reviews documents (Mortgages/DOT) for recording in the Land Records and/or the court system, including calculating fees and uploading items to our company database. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews recordable docs for accuracy, verifies necessary information, and ensures information is in recordable form. 
  • Calculates fees and facilitates payment with the County. 
  • Works with other departments and clients to answer questions and trouble shoot. 
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned. 

Requirements

  • Experience in the Mortgage industry preferred. 
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
