We are searching for a driven and talented leader to fill our Director of Talent Acquisition position during an exciting and growth period for Certain Affinity. In this role, you will oversee our recruitment strategy, talent sourcing and directly manage our recruiting team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and enhance our ability to attract and select top talent across multiple locations as we grow the studios and build our new IP.

You will manage and prioritize all active requisitions and establish and utilize metrics and resources to hire critical roles for the studio. You will work closely with all levels of leadership and hiring teams to ensure a great candidate experience. We are looking for a leader with a keen understanding of practices and processes involved in acquiring talent and actively leveraging their knowledge and network to build the organization's potential.

Responsibilities

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing recruiting team to achieve company hiring growth goals

  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, creating clear objectives and metrics for the team
  • Provide active, ongoing coaching for recruiters and hiring teams to excel
  • Develop, drive and implement talent acquisition strategy in line with company goals
  • Forecast hiring needs based on our product roadmap and company goals, executive input, attrition, and expected business growth
  • Partner with marketing to review and enhance our employment brand to drive candidate interest
  • Create guidelines, best practices, and training for workforce planning, hiring, and sourcing
Manage and maintain excellent key stakeholder relationships
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure alignment
  • Develop a network of potential future hires
  • Manage external partnerships with colleges, job boards, and software vendors
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and teams at all levels of the organization
Identify and develop relevant recruitment metrics, track team performance and increase transparency on recruiting progress
  • Establish and track key recruitment metrics around sourcing, interviewing, candidate experience, and hiring
  • Act as the subject matter expert on recruiting trends, market dynamics, and competitive recruiting practices
  • Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews, and communication)
  • Create and guide training initiatives to boost recruiting practices across the studio that create a compelling and satisfying candidate experience
  • Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company
  • Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and diversity goals
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the effective sourcing and retention of talent
Overseeing sourcing, hiring, and employee acquisition processes
  • Lead all sourcing strategies
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
  • Develop strong relationships and ensure a great hiring experience for all candidates
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Director or similar role
  • 10+ years of experience designing, building and leading a full lifecycle talent acquisition function
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Work experience in the entertainment or technology industries
  • Strong client interaction skills providing excellent customer service experiences
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge and experience with recruiting tools: applicant tracking systems, sourcing technologies, talent intelligence tools, etc.
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical skills, with proficiency in utilizing data to support a recruiting strategy, process, decision-making, and budget control
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, inclusive interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels (both key stakeholders and candidates)
  • Solid understanding of sourcing strategies, techniques, and tools (e.g., social networks)
  • Experience creating and executing diversity recruiting strategies with impact
