Education and Experience Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management required or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years of HR Coordinator experience in a high growth, agile environment.
  • CHRP certification or demonstrated commit to pursue is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of current employment standards with strong commitment to diversity management.
  • Experience in a technical, data environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in a metrics driven organization with demonstrated understanding of how HR supports the business.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and re-prioritize based on business needs.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement and learner mindset.
  • Support business teams, including both leaders and employees, on a wide variety of HR-related matters with guidance and direction of the HR Manager.
  • Administer employee change actions including hires, moves, promotions
  • Serves as the first point of contact for the People Team to respond to employee inquiries and consults with HR Team on actions.
  • Coordinate the administration of the annual engagement survey.
  • Coordinate the administration of annual compliance training and reporting.
  • Coordinate and provide recruitment support by participating in process from requisition to hire.
  • Maintain and update new hire onboarding/orientation.
  • Identify, coordinate, and attend job fairs and tech events.
  • Conduct recruitment agency search and procure agreements.
  • Plan, coordinate and maintain annual Co-op program in partnership with Hiring Managers to assess needs.
  • Support annual benefits administration in partnership with parent company lead and HR Generalists.
  • Identify and coordinate potential grant incentives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Develop and/or maintain employee and people manager handbooks, reference materials, job aids to inform and provide guidance on policies and processes.
  • Maintain the integrity of employee data, including auditing and corrections in HRIS, HR systems, Excel files and other documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Complete Reporting as requested.
  • Maintain Jobvite Recruitment Analytics (Dashboard).
  • Coordinate learning and development logistical support.
  • Manage various project work as assigned.
