Duties and responsibilities.
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Their main duties include gathering requirements from stakeholders, analyzing data sources, and creating data models that provide meaningful insights to drive informed business decisions. They design visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and trends. They collaborate with business users and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and maintain data security. The consultant also provides training and support to end-users, assists with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and stays updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve the BI solutions

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar:
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including its features, capabilities, and components (such as Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX).
- At least 3 years of experience working with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
- Proficiency in creating data models, designing interactive dashboards, and developing visually appealing reports and visualizations.
- Understanding of data cleansing, transformation, and modeling techniques to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.
- Experience in working with various data sources and performing data integration and blending tasks.
- Proficiency in creating compelling visualizations, charts, and graphs that effectively communicate information to end-users.
- Solid understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) and experience working with relational databases to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Ability to understand and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide recommendations for data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and gather requirements.
