Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the team delivers as expected in terms of quality, impact, and performance. Ensure the team delivers as expected in terms of quality, impact, and performance.
- Set direction for the team, anticipate challenges and risks and plan strategically.
- Understand the team and individual’s needs and gaps (technical and soft skills) and be accountable for developing skills through training, mentorship, and personal development. - Conduct proper capacity planning of assignments (people and tasks) to ensure the team has the best possible workload, prevent under and over-commitment, and ensure standards and guidelines are properly covered.
- Set performance goals and contribute to assessments, promotions, and personal and professional growth programs
- Manage new requirements or changes to the current requirements from the client
- Create and maintain project repository and manage the knowledge during the project life cycle
- Ensure and conduct a proper offboarding of team members from the project when required.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the projects through retrospective analysis/lessons learned and the corresponding action plan. Report project overall status (by using dashboards, status meetings, email, instant channels, etc.).
- Manage project challenges and risks, define and execute action plans and ensure communication with the stakeholders
- Manage retention processes within the areas involved
- Carry out the administrative management related to the personnel in charge, such as vacation management, news report, promotions, and withdrawals, among others
- Manage new requirements or changes to the current requirements from the client
- Create and maintain project repository and manage the knowledge during the project life cycle
- Ensure and conduct a proper offboarding of team members from the project when required
- Ensure continuous improvement of the projects through retrospective analysis/lessons learned and the corresponding action plan

- Proficient in agile project management methodologies, principles, and practices
- Proficient in requirements gathering and/or business analysis.
- Proficient in project planning, monitoring, and execution by using agile and traditional approaches as needed
- Knowledge of budget management
- knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle (e.g., coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations)
- Knowledge and experience of the most recognized agile project management and/or service operation tools, e.g., JIRA, Wrike, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ZenDesk, BaseCamp, etc. Proficient in agile project management methodologies, principles, and practices
