IT Network Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced network engineer to oversee the process of replacing and introducing new office networks across our offices globally; standardising the networking in our offices to Cisco/Meraki for both wired and wireless connectivity.

In your role you will be responsible for planning and managing network related projects across the company. You will be tasked with designing, implementing and installing network solutions to meet staff needs. The ultimate aim is establishing new secure network access for all staff in offices across the globe. This will include overseeing procurement and purchasing of hardware, and software licensing in multiple locations. You will be involved in the integration, management and support of other IT systems across the company.
In addition to the network specific work you will be part of the broader IT team and be involved in the day to day function of the IT team supporting staff on a wide range of issues globally.
We are looking for:
- Experience working in an business or education IT network support role
- Experience in managing office networks
- Experience Cisco/Meraki network and hardware experience
- Cisco Meraki and CCNA qualifications
- Technical support and customer service experience in general
- Experience configuring and managing VPN solutions
- Experience managing and configuring firewalls and routers
You might have:
- Experience working with Kubernetes in AWS
- Experience with Apple or Windows devices management
- Hands on scripting and system integration skills
- Any qualifications in Linux, Apple, Microsoft or ITIL
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar methodologies
- Knowledge of Personal Data regulationExcellent problem solving skills

- Good written and verbal communication skills
