State the overall function or purpose of the job.
CAAC Commercial Manager is a regional position accountable for commercial goals including patient identification and patients on therapy targets and revenue goals. In-line with the overarching brand strategy create and maintain a strategic business plan with particular emphasis on key accounts that will ensure the growth of the brand through environmental analysis and understanding stakeholders’ engagement, influencing commercial skills and project management. Looking for opportunities and open access barriers to increase the business for the company.
Accountable in the alignment with distributor in all business strategies and the execution through an effective communication. Guarantee engagement of distributor to comply with all mandatory internal processes.

List the major responsibilities of the job.
A) Participate in the development of business strategies, align the distributor to ensure that they are applying in the countries
B) Coordination of the region with internal and external stakeholders to achieve financial results
C) In-line with the overarching brand strategy, create and maintain a business plan with particular emphasis on key accounts that will ensure the growth of the brand through environmental analysis and understanding stakeholders’ engagement, influencing commercial skills and project management.
D) Maintain an in-depth understanding of the regional stakeholder network, priorities and ensure tactics are aligned with distributor.
Access, PR, and Advocacy
E) Looking for new business opportunities, understand and create a plan for access barriers in priorities countries. Analysis of add value proposals for governments in alignment with distributor.
F) Anticipate and understand government critical situations and regulations and implement an action plan to mitigate impacts for business.
G) Identify and develop strong relationships with critical patient advocacy groups; KOLs, key stakeholders, payers and advocacy leaders to understand and respond to patient’s needs. Create, and maintain an advocacy plan to advance common interests relating to BioMarin’s disease areas.
H) Develop, integrate, and implement PR activities designed to enhance company brand and reputation. PR plan in main countries to reinforce the disease awareness and campaigns.
Business operations
I) Guarantee the execution of priorities that allow the growth of the business
J) Guarantee a fluid and accurate communication with distributor
K) Manage and regularly report business outcomes to local and Latam leaders.
L) Ensure that market prices and margins are in line with the contract and business opportunities
M) Guarantee an engagement with distributor to accomplish all mandatory internal process and BioMarin´s policies.
N) Guarantee the execution of Opex for Advertising and Promotional activities (A&P)

Quantify the scope or impact of the job in terms of revenue, expenses, capital investment, headcount, etc.

• Work together with FTE distributor dedicated to BioMarin (commercial & access team, S&OP team, medical team, finance, legal and compliance team)

• +3 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry. Experience at a pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization, preferably

• Knowledge about the markets and main access barriers in CAAC countries, preferably

• Experience working with local distributors in countries de CAAC
