Social Media Baseball Trainee
This trainee position for the Holly Springs Salamanders will be primarily focused on social media. Proven command of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram is a plus, as well as the analytics behind those platforms. This is a seasonal position from March through August; the hours vary depending upon game schedule. This position is designed to provide a wide array of experience to individuals who are seeking a career in professional sports. The Baseball Trainees will be provided with game experience in all of the following areas: stadium operations, ticket sales, guest services, hospitality, and marketing.
The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter with a strong work ethic and an understanding of essential customer service skills. The candidate should be receptive to instruction and adaptable to various work environments. This position can vary in length from 4-6 months (March-August) based on the schedule of the candidate and the needs of the organization. Trainees will work most events, but hours may vary greatly based on the event schedule. A pre-employment drug screening is required.
