Skills:

1. Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Data Architecture and data transformation processes (ETL or ELT) in Teradata Database technologies using BTEQ, Stored procedures etc.
2. Experience in Discovery and assessment of existing as well as architecting and implementing enterprise data warehouse, Data modelling, data integration and analytics in Teradata Database technologies.
3. Experience in Teradata database performance tuning and Data model creation and optimization in Dimensional as well as in Data vault methodologies.
4. Japanese and English bilingual.
5. Knowledge of Teradata FS-LDM or any other Industry specific data model. Modelling experience must include at least one EDW data model implementation.

Responsibilities:
1. Discovery and assessment of existing Enterprise data warehouse, existing Data model, underlying database architecture and database objects, complexities in Teradata Database.
2. Create inventory and assessment report of existing data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, data warehouses and reporting.
3. Should be able to provide recommendations for Tools and Technologies which are best suited for future landscape as per client requirements and assessment report of existing platforms.
4. Offshore coordination.
5. Customer communication in Japanese.
6. Help in translations of existing technical design documents from Japanese to English.
7. Help in translating from english technical documents to Japanese for customer delivery.
8. Will help in formulating data strategy which supports future business needs maintaining the data architecture principles.
