As a Doctors' Assistant - Veterinary Scribe, you'll be the right hand to our veterinarians, ensuring they can focus on what they do best: patient care. You'll handle essential tasks like medical data entry, communication with departments and clients, and keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and maintain detailed patient records in electronic medical systems
- Assist doctors with documentation during patient visits, ensuring records are complete and accurate
- Facilitate patient flow, minimizing wait times for clients
- Communicate with referring veterinarians, families, and other departments to ensure seamless care coordination
- Assist with patient discharges and client education

Who You Are:
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a veterinary hospital as a technician, client liaison, or CCA—or equivalent experience in human medicine
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and a willingness to learn veterinary software programs
- Strong Communication: Clear, concise communication skills with clients, referring vets, and team members
- Organizational Pro: You can handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in maintaining medical records and communications
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
