Position Intro

Ranked as the #1 Major Publisher in Metacritic’s 9th Annual Game Publisher Rankings, Capcom continues to deliver world-class, award-winning titles and we are searching for a Brand Marketing Manager to join our talented team. The role of the Brand Marketing Manager is to assume marketing ownership of Exoprimal and other port titles, with a strong focus towards Go to Market Strategy and maximizing the sales potential of titles across North and South America.

Reporting into Capcom USA’s Head of Marketing, an ideal candidate for this role must be a creative, analytical and detail-oriented self-starter who possesses strong multi-tasking and execution skills. This role is responsible for managing effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns, while working collaboratively with Capcom’s European and Japanese promotional teams, as well as the Development team in Japan.  The Brand Marketing Manager should be capable of managing a large AAA marketing campaign with limited oversight, post-launch management of a live-service game, as well as management of Associate Brand Managers.

Exoprimal and Other Port Titles

Exoprimal is a new IP announced by Capcom in March, 2022. It is an ambitious game with the intention of entering the multiplayer shooter genre as a 5 versus 5 Team-Based Action game with cutting-edge graphics and several unique elements such as exosuits and dinosaurs. Capcom also has multiple port titles coming down the pipe alongside Exoprimal


  • Manages Associate Brand Manager(s).
  • Lead and supervise marketing campaign team.
  • Responsible for managing effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns in North and South American territories.
  • Work collaboratively across teams, supporting and providing leadership across sales, channel, public relations, legal, digital, licensing and media departments to maximize sales potential of products. This includes working with Capcom’s international teams in Europe and Japan, as well as the development team in Japan.
  • Manage post-launch activation of live service games such as sale promotion, DLC drops and in-game events.
  • Create and manage Go to Market strategy and marketing roadmaps.
  • Utilize data analytics to hypothesize solutions and measure results.
  • Manage multiple marketing projects at once, overseeing both strategy and operations to bring campaigns to launch. This includes the creation and oversight of project management plans, as well as their coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Deliver engaging experiences at key trade show events, and provide general event support on-site.
  • Oversee the creation and production of both physical retail and digital products.
  • Partner with Capcom’s advertising agency to produce integrated, high impact media plans spanning digital, social, influencer, broadcast and other emerging verticals.
  • Manage creative agencies to deliver best in class marketing assets such as key art, trailers, websites, and online banners.
  • Provide media spokesperson duties for assigned products, including live on-camera interviews.
  • Manage marketing budgets for assigned products, working closely with Capcom’s finance team.   
  • Collaborate with 1st party partners including Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Valve, to maximize sales potential for products.

Required Experience

  • 4-5 years’ product / brand marketing experience in a related entertainment industry
  • The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on AAA live-service games

  • BA in Business/Marketing or related field.

Bonus Points

  • Japanese business proficiency recommended

Travel Requirements

This job includes regular domestic air travel and occasional international travel, primarily to Japan. Travel can be as often as 20% of the time and the applicant must be willing to travel regularly and be prepared to attend and work at a variety of industry events.

Licenses, Certifications and Other

A valid California Driver’s License.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
