Capcom U.S.A. is now searching for a candidate with a strong passion for growth who is eager to contribute their marketing and analytics driven minds to our talented team.

Reporting into Capcom U.S.A.’s Senior Manager, Media & Data Analytics, this person will have a chance to work with, and learn from a handful of experienced video game marketers. All while having the opportunity to earn ownership over many different aspects of the ever-developing marketing function of Capcom.

To start, you’ll have your hands in things like helping craft our email newsletter program, developing growth marketing campaigns to maximize promotional periods, and analyzing our most loyal fans to ensure we continue to enhance the Capcom brand, and all its celebrated video game franchises.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Media Professional across Brands – Help consult and evaluate media plans on the various marketing beats for any upcoming releases and find insights that help optimize the performance of our marketing.
  • Plan Engaging Email Marketing Campaigns – Work with internal teams to strategize the contents of our email marketing program to offer relevant content to our fans like discounts, giveaways, and our latest news. Also Collaborate with email agency and gather assets from brand teams to deliver a high-quality execution of the newsletter to our fans.
  • Own Growth Marketing Campaigns – Help develop growth marketing campaigns to maximize sales during key promotional periods (e.g., Black Friday, Holiday, etc.).
  • Manage the Customer Data Platform – Help maintain the organization and consistency of our Consumer Data Platform (CDP) and analyze and learn about our first party data to develop richer audience segments for use throughout Capcom’s Marketing Efforts.
  • Keep Learning and Growing – Help manage a Media Testing Plan and execute things like A/B tests to maximize learnings across all functions of Capcom Marketing.
  • Educate the Office – Work with Data team to maintain and analyze data dashboards and develop quarterly performance reports delivered to leadership for Email Marketing, Growth Marketing, and the CDP.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a field related to Marketing, Data Analytics, Research, or other business functions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field of study
  • Track record of high job performance through consistent growth and execution of meaningful projects in fields related to marketing, analytics, CRM, gaming, or similar
  • Must be a proactive team player that is detail oriented, self-motivated and time efficient
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Experience with and proficient use of the basics of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.), PowerPoint and other necessary digital tools

Travel Requirements

This job includes occasional domestic air travel. Travel can be as often as 10% of the time and the applicant must be willing to travel as needed and be prepared to attend and work at a variety of industry events.

Licenses, Certifications and Other

A valid California Driver’s License.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Base Salary 
$75,000 - $95,000 Depends on Experience
