We are currently looking to add a full-time Account Coordinator to our team. Someone who is equally passionate about serving the community and achieving operational success alongside our dedicated and loyal employees.

Located at 4700 – 120 Avenue SE, Calgary, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for planning and managing all details of the dedicated accounts assigned. Work is completed according to well-defined, established procedures involving limited independent judgement.

Shift: Sunday to Thursday 11:00am – 7:30pm
Compensation: $46,000 per year

 

The Specific Role Mandate includes:

          Data entry of all A1 data entries specific to accounts, including pro bills and progression. Ensure information is accurate and updated daily

          Manage all assigned tractors for each account, scheduling maintenance as required

          Manage all trailer pools related to assigned accounts

          Ensure all vacated runs are covered by a driver

          Foster driver relationships for each account to ensure driver retention

          All driver disciplinary issues to be elevated to Supervisor / Operations Manager

          Provide Operations team with needed reports for assigned accounts

          Provide excellent customer service for assigned accounts, taking care of customer requests

          Ensure all driver trips are planned and confirmed for assigned accounts

          Ensure all driver paperwork is submitted daily

          Track and Trace our drivers as required using XRS and Back Office

          Attend daily planning meetings communicating any / all driver needs to senior planner and the need for cross training to help cover holiday requests on assigned accounts

          Continually strives to improve work processes, methods, environment, customer service and personal and team performance

          Other duties as required

 

 Who you are:

          Minimum of 1 – 2 years of Account Coordinator or related experience within the Transportation Industry

          Good communication skills

          Strong attention to detail

          Proficient in the Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel and Outlook

          Ability to type up to 45 words per minute

          Familiarity with trucking and hours of service, is an asset

          Proven experience in handling multiple priorities

          Must be willing to work a flexible schedule

          Must be available to work overtime if the demand arises

          Strong leadership skills
