We are currently looking to add a full-time permanent Marketing & Communications Specialist to our team. Someone who is equally passionate about serving the community and achieving operational success alongside our dedicated and loyal employees.

Located at 1115 Cardiff Blvd, with the possibility of remote and reporting to the Director, National Programs & Marketing, the Marketing & Communications Specialist will play a vital role in the creation of content for both digital media and offline channels. Such content includes thought leadership articles and posts, case studies, web pages, and social media posts.  As well, the specialist will work with the internal clients and other key stakeholders to develop a successful communications plan. 



Optimizing content for the target audience

Increasing brand awareness through marketing content online, incorporating social media and blog posts on multiple social media channels and website.

Planning content to contribute to the overall brand story.

Work on outbound marketing campaigns and customer communications

Utilise data for marketing campaigns, using CRM databases and external data.

Conduct market research studies.

Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content, as well as analyze web traffic to measure content success.

Create and distribute internal communications, including monthly e-newsletter and semi-annual print newsletter, safety communications, electronic communication displays, as well as other ad hoc communication requests.

Be the Internal Brand Ambassador, Swag Guru, and Collateral Collector and Organize.

Work on the promotion of internal campaigns.

 Core Competencies and Qualification:

Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, and/or Communications

Work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role would be an asset

Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as web content management tools, like WordPress

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional organization skills and ability to multi-task

Very high level of attention to detail

Desire to learn new skills

A team player with the ability to work independently

Successfully pass a background check
