We are currently looking to add a full-time, permanent, Intermediate Developer to our team. Someone who is equally passionate about serving the community and achieving operational success alongside our dedicated and loyal employees.
Located at 6767 Davand Drive, Mississauga, ON and reporting to the Director of Development and Integration, the Intermediate Developer is a customer service oriented individual who is able to work on multiple assignments in a fast pace professional environment. The Intermediate Developer is responsible for designing, building, documenting, and testing system components to support the Transport and Logistics business at Canada Cartage.
•Design and code Web and mobile applications, integration interfaces, dashboards and reports.
•Write technical specifications, use-case diagrams, and deployment documents.
•Collaborate with IT team members and Business representatives to understand and validate business requirements.
•Manage application lifecycle to ensure smooth deployment and post-production modifications.
•Assist IT team members and Business representatives on user testing.
•Provide day-to-day support to existing applications, integration interfaces, and reports for internal and external business customers.

•Ability to plan things effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
•Experience and good understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
•Strong believer in documentation and standardization.

•5+ years of development experience in Microsoft .NET using C#, Web Services, MVC.
•5+ years of development experience in Microsoft SQL Server, including complex stored procedures, functions, and views.
•3+ years of experience in Web API development.
•5+ years of experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
•Successfully pass a background check
Nice to have:
•Knowledge and experience in Microsoft integration technologies, including BizTalk, SSIS, and Logic Apps.
•Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Power BI and SSRS.
•Knowledge and experience in transportation industry.
•Knowledge and experience in warehouse and logistics industry.
•Project management experience.
