We are currently looking to add a Customer Service Representative, to our team. Someone who is equally passionate about serving the community and achieving operational success alongside our dedicated and loyal employees.

Located in 1100 Polytek St. Gloucester, ON, our Ottawa Terminal. The CSR will be a dedicated Customer Service Rep for several accounts and provide support to drivers to ensure the timely movement of ground freight.

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday: 10:00am to 6:00pm

    Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Customer service, inbound and outbound, emails and phone calls

Support customer enquiries, confirming delivery dates and times and providing updates throughout the day

                      responding to customer escalations in a professional and courteous manner

First point of contact with drivers while en-route

 

 

Core Competencies and Qualification:

 

Strong computer and typing skills

Quick to learn software programs

Proficient in outlook and strong communication by email skills and etiquette

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Ability to work independently, self-motivated

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

Detail orientated, responsible and accountable

Ability to maintain goal orientated focus in a busy work area

  • Successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • must be fluent in both English and French
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and own vehicle
  • Able to successfully pass a criminal background check
