We are currently looking to add a dayshift Dispatcher, to cover a maternity leave. Someone who is equally passionate about serving the community and achieving operational success alongside our dedicated and loyal employees.

Located at our Saskatoon Terminal at 3030 Cleveland Avenue and reporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatcher is responsible for supporting and monitoring all on road activities completed by drivers and ensuring customer requirements are adhered to.

Shift:  Monday to Friday from 6:30am - 3:30pm



Assess and support all driver inquires, supplying drivers with all needed information and tools for their trip. IE Trip sheets, access codes for locations, trip numbers, tractors keys

Ensures great communication with operations team in regards to any issues or repairs required etc

Utilize Back Office and XRS to help track and monitor driver activity

Support team members and warehouse to ensure timely resolution of any issues

Continual and proactive communication with operations team, drivers and customers.

Manage and update customer portals as required.

Ensure Trip Sheets are complete and A1 live updates are complete, progressing trips as required

Manage all incoming/outgoing phone calls and emails as required

Sort and process all inbound driver paperwork for billing and payroll

Dispatch evening/weekend duties may be required (respond in timely manner to all customer/driver requests)


 Core Competencies and Qualification:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Minimum of 1 year dispatch experience within a trucking company

Strong attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to type up to 45 words per minute

Understanding of trucking and hours of service an asset

Proven experience in handling multiple priorities

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and be able to work overtime if the demand arises

Strong Leadership skills

  • Successfully pass a background check
