We are looking for a dynamic Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Office Administration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, technology-savvy, and proficient in using advanced software and AI tools to optimize office operations.

The position's primary focus is to develop curriculum content in the areas of expertise. The job incumbent works closely with and report to the Curriculum Coordinator of the Campus Support Academic Department.
 
Areas of Expertise: Office Administration, Executive Administration, Business Administration, Business Management

Key Responsibility: 

  • Conduct curriculum review and provide suggestions for curriculum improvement
  • Develop curriculum content including program outline, course outlines and other instructional materials. 

Job Requirements:

Education and experience 

  • Credential from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline (Office Administration, Executive Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, etc.)
  • 5 years of experience working in a related field or teaching in a related program in a post-secondary institution.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in curriculum development preferable.
  • Industrial Certificate (s) and current membership with a relevant professional association preferable.
 
Skills and Abilities
  • Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of expertise, including ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Interest in pedagogical and multi-modal education approaches an asset.
  • Advanced written communication skills.
  • High standards of behavior, a professional attitude and commitment to quality service.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other experts and staff.
Technology Proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and cloud-based solutions (e.g., Google Workspace, Office 365).
  • Familiarity with relevant office management software
  • Experience with AI tools for administrative tasks (e.g., chatbots, automated scheduling, and data analysis tools).
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and drive technological initiatives.
